About the work
Alex Zerr Abstract Artworks
Extraordinary abstract paintings. Movement captured in the moment.
My paintings begin without a sketch and without a plan. I paint mainly in the style of action painting, acrylic on canvas, and decide every step in the moment. Where a painting goes is decided in the process. Trust the process.
A painting is finished when it develops its own energy and radiates a unique presence. Every work is made by hand in my studio in Bad Lippspringe near Paderborn, Germany.
